The Temptation of Jesus
4 (A)Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness (B)to be tempted by the devil. 2 And after He had (C)fasted for forty days and forty nights, He [a]then became hungry. 3 And (D)the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the (E)Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” 4 But He answered and said, “It is written: ‘(F)Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God.’”
5 Then the devil *took Him along into (G)the holy city and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 and he *said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written:
‘(H)He will give His angels orders concerning You’;
and
‘On their hands they will lift You up,
So that You do not strike Your foot against a stone.’”
7 Jesus said to him, “[b]On the other hand, it is written: ‘(I)You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’”
8 (J)Again, the devil *took Him along to a very high mountain and *showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; 9 and he said to Him, “(K)All these things I will give You, if You fall down and [c]worship me.” 10 Then Jesus *said to him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘(L)You shall worship the Lord your God, and [d]serve Him only.’” 11 Then the devil *left Him; and behold, (M)angels came and began to serve Him.
Jesus Begins His Ministry
12 Now when Jesus heard that (N)John had been taken into custody, (O)He withdrew into Galilee; 13 and leaving Nazareth, He came and (P)settled in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali. 14 This happened so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled:
15 “(Q)The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
[e]By the way of the sea, on the other side of the Jordan, Galilee of the [f]Gentiles—
16 (R)The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great Light,
And those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death,
Upon them a Light dawned.”
17 (S)From that time Jesus began to [g]preach and say, “(T)Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
The First Disciples
18 (U)Now as Jesus was walking by (V)the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, (W)Simon, who was called Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19 And He *said to them, “[h]Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.” 20 Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. 21 Going on from there He saw two other brothers, [i](X)James the son of Zebedee, and his brother [j]John, in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets; and He called them. 22 Immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.
Ministry in Galilee
23 Jesus was going (Y)about in all of Galilee, (Z)teaching in their synagogues and (AA)proclaiming the [k]gospel of the kingdom, and (AB)healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
24 And the news about Him spread (AC)throughout Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and severe pain, (AD)demon-possessed, people with (AE)epilepsy, and people who were (AF)paralyzed; and He healed them. 25 Large crowds (AG)followed Him from Galilee and (AH)the Decapolis, and Jerusalem, and Judea, and from (AI)beyond the Jordan.

4 Затем Дух повёл Исо в пустыню для того, чтобы Ему пройти искушение от дьявола. 2 После сорока дней и сорока ночей, проведённых в посте, Исо почувствовал сильный голод. 3 Тогда искуситель подошёл и сказал Ему:
– Если Ты Сын Всевышнего (Царственный Спаситель), то прикажи этим камням стать хлебом.
4 Но Исо ответил:
– Написано: «Не одним хлебом живёт человек, но и каждым словом, исходящим из уст Всевышнего»[a].
5 Затем дьявол привёл Исо в святой город и поставил Его на самый верх Иерусалимского храма.
6 – Если Ты Сын Всевышнего, – сказал он Ему, – то бросься вниз. Ведь написано же:
«Своим ангелам повелит о Тебе,
и они понесут Тебя на руках,
чтобы ноги Твои не ударились о камень».[b]
7 Исо сказал ему:
– Написано также: «Не испытывай Вечного, Бога твоего».[c]
8 Тогда дьявол взял Его на очень высокую гору и показал Ему все царства мира во всём их блеске.
9 И он сказал Ему:
– Всё это я передам Тебе, если Ты падёшь и поклонишься мне!
10 Тогда Исо сказал ему:
– Прочь от Меня, сатана! Ведь написано: «Поклоняйся Вечному, Богу твоему, и служи Ему одному»[d].
11 Тогда дьявол оставил Его, а к Исо приступили ангелы и служили Ему.
Исо Масех начинает Своё служение(B)
12 Когда Исо услышал о том, что Яхьё заключён в темницу, Он возвратился в Галилею. 13 Покинув Назарет, Он поселился в Капернауме, который расположен на берегу озера, в земле, принадлежавшей родам Завулона и Неффалима. 14 Так исполнилось пророчество Исаии:
15 «Земля Завулона и земля Неффалима,
где приморский путь, ведущий за Иордан,
Галилея языческая!
16 Народ, живущий во тьме,
увидел великий свет.
У живущих в стране, объятой тенью смерти,
воссиял свет»[e].
17 С этого времени Исо начал возвещать:
– Покайтесь, потому что Всевышний уже устанавливает Своё Царство!
Четыре рыбака следуют за Исо Масехом(C)
18 Однажды, проходя вдоль Галилейского озера, Исо увидел двух братьев: Шимона, прозванного Петрусом, и его брата Андера. Они забрасывали в озеро сети, так как были рыбаками.
19 – Идите за Мной, – сказал Он им, – и Я сделаю вас ловцами людей.
20 Братья сразу же оставили сети и пошли за Ним. 21 Пройдя дальше, Исо увидел двух других братьев: Якуба и Иохана, сыновей Завдая. Они были в лодке со своим отцом и чинили свои сети. Исо позвал и их. 22 Они сразу же, оставив лодку и отца, пошли за Ним.
Исо Масех возвещает Радостную Весть в Галилее(D)
23 Исо ходил по всей Галилее, уча в молитвенных домах, возвещая Радостную Весть о Царстве и исцеляя людей от всех болезней и недугов. 24 Слух о Нём распространился по всей Сирии, и к Нему приносили страдающих от самых различных болезней, испытывающих сильные боли, одержимых демонами, больных эпилепсией, парализованных, и Он их исцелял. 25 За Ним следовали большие толпы людей из Галилеи, области Десяти городов, Иерусалима, Иудеи и из-за реки Иордана.
