Matthew 18:6-11
New King James Version
Jesus Warns of Offenses(A)
6 (B)“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. 7 Woe to the world because of [a]offenses! For (C)offenses must come, but (D)woe to that man by whom the offense comes!
8 (E)“If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into [b]hell fire.
The Parable of the Lost Sheep(F)
10 “Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven (G)their angels always (H)see the face of My Father who is in heaven. 11 (I)For[c] the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.

New American Standard Bible
6 but (A)whoever (B)causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to [a]sin, it is better for him that a [b]heavy millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Stumbling Blocks
7 “Woe to the world because of its [c]stumbling blocks! For (C)it is inevitable that [d]stumbling blocks come; but woe to the person through whom the [e]stumbling block comes!
8 “And (D)if your hand or your foot is causing you to sin, cut it off and throw it away from you; it is better for you to enter life maimed or without a foot, than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into the eternal fire. 9 And (E)if your eye is causing you to sin, tear it out and throw it away from you. It is better for you to enter life with one eye, than to have two eyes and be thrown into the [f](F)fiery hell.
10 “See that you do not look down on one of these little ones; for I say to you that (G)their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.[g]
