²⁷ All things have been entrusted to me by my Father. No one fully knows the Son except the Father, and no one fully knows the Father except the Son and the person to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

² He came to Jesus^[a] at night and told him, “Rabbi,^[b] we know that you have come from God as a teacher, because no one can perform these signs that you are doing unless God is with him.”

¹³ “No one has gone up to heaven except the one who came down from heaven, the Son of Man who is in heaven.^[a]

³⁴ The one whom God sent speaks the words of God, because God^[a] does not give the Spirit in limited measure to him.^[b]

⁶ I have made your name known to these men whom you gave me from the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

¹⁴ I have given them your word, and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I don’t belong to the world.

²⁶ I made your name known to them, and will continue to make it known, so that the love you have for me^[a] may be in them and I myself may be in them.”

God Has Spoken to Us

1 God, having spoken in former times in fragmentary and varied fashion to our forefathers by the prophets,

² has in these last days spoken to us by a Son whom he appointed to be the heir of everything and through whom he also made the universe.
