योना अगमजानी के चिन्हां
(मरकुस 8:11-12; लूका 11:29-32)
38 तब कुछू फरीसी अऊ कानून के गुरू मन यीसू ले कहिन, “हे गुरू! हमन तोर ले कोनो अचरज के चिन्हां देखे चाहत हन।”
39 यीसू ह ओमन ला जबाब दीस, “ए दुस्ट अऊ बेभिचारी पीढ़ी के मनखेमन चिन्हां देखाय बर कहत हवंय! पर योना अगमजानी के चिन्हां ला छोंड़ एमन ला अऊ कोनो चिन्हां नइं दिये जावय। 40 जइसने योना ह तीन दिन अऊ तीन रात एक ठन बड़े मछरी के पेट म रिहिस, वइसने मनखे के बेटा ह घलो तीन दिन अऊ तीन रात धरती के भीतर म रहिही।[a] 41 नियाय के दिन नीनवे सहर के मनखेमन, ए पीढ़ी के मनखेमन संग ठाढ़ होहीं, अऊ एमन ऊपर दोस लगाहीं, काबरकि ओमन योना के संदेस ला सुनके मन फिराईन। पर देखव![b] इहां एक झन हवय, जऊन ह योना ले घलो बड़के अय। 42 नियाय के दिन दक्खिन दिग के रानी ह ए पीढ़ी के मनखेमन संग ठाढ़ होही अऊ एमन ऊपर दोस लगाही, काबरकि ओ रानी ह राजा सुलेमान के गियान के बात ला सुने बर धरती के छोर ले आय रिहिस। पर देखव![c] इहां एक झन हवय, जऊन ह राजा सुलेमान ले घलो बड़के अय।

The Sign of Jonah(A)(B)
38 Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign(C) from you.”(D)
39 He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.(E) 40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish,(F) so the Son of Man(G) will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.(H) 41 The men of Nineveh(I) will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah,(J) and now something greater than Jonah is here. 42 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came(K) from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, and now something greater than Solomon is here.
