34 Ninyi nyoka! Ni waovu sana. Mnawezaje mkasema chochote kilicho chema? Kile ambacho watu husema kwa midomo yao kinatoka katika yale yaliyojaa katika mioyo yao. 35 Walio wema wana vitu vizuri vilivyotunzwa katika mioyo yao. Ndiyo maana husema mambo mazuri. Lakini wale walio waovu wana mioyo iliyojaa uovu, na ndiyo sababu husema mambo maovu.

34 You brood of vipers,(A) how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks(B) what the heart is full of. 35 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.
