⁴⁰ So just as the weeds are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at ^(A)the ^[a]end of the age.

⁴¹ “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘^(A)Depart from Me, you accursed people, into the ^(B)eternal fire which has been prepared for ^(C)the devil and his angels;

²⁴ And he cried out and said, ‘^(A)Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in ^(B)this flame.’

⁶ And ^(A)angels who did not keep their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling place, these He has ^(B)kept in eternal restraints under darkness for the judgment of the great day, ⁷ just as ^(C)Sodom and Gomorrah and the ^(D)cities around them, since they in the same way as these angels indulged in sexual perversion and ^(E)went after ^[a]strange flesh, are exhibited as an ^[b](F)example in undergoing the ^(G)punishment of eternal fire.

²⁷ but a terrifying expectation of ^(A)judgment and ^(B)the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries.

⁷ But by His word ^(A)the present heavens and earth are being reserved for ^(B)fire, kept for ^(C)the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly people.

¹⁰ And ^(A)the devil who ^(B)deceived them was thrown into the ^(C)lake of fire and ^[a]brimstone, where the ^(D)beast and the ^(E)false prophet are also; and they will be ^(F)tormented day and night forever and ever.
