Galatians 3:17-24
New King James Version
17 And this I say, that the law, (A)which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God [a]in Christ, (B)that it should make the promise of no effect. 18 For if (C)the inheritance is of the law, (D)it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
Purpose of the Law
19 What purpose then does the law serve? (E)It was added because of transgressions, till the (F)Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was (G)appointed through angels by the hand (H)of a mediator. 20 Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, (I)but God is one.
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law. 22 But the Scripture has confined (J)all under sin, (K)that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. 23 But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, [b]kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. 24 Therefore (L)the law was our [c]tutor to bring us to Christ, (M)that we might be justified by faith.

Christ’s Death Fulfills God’s Will(B)
5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:
(C)“Sacrifice and offering You did not desire,
But a body You have prepared for Me.
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin
You had no pleasure.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—
In the volume of the book it is written of Me—
To do Your will, O God.’ ”
8 Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law), 9 then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, [a]O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second. 10 (D)By that will we have been [b]sanctified (E)through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Christ’s Death Perfects the Sanctified
11 And every priest stands (F)ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 (G)But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down (H)at the right hand of God,
