29 And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,
30 Save thyself, and come down from the cross.
31 Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.
32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

29 Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads(A) and saying, “So! You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days,(B) 30 come down from the cross and save yourself!” 31 In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law mocked him(C) among themselves. “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! 32 Let this Messiah,(D) this king of Israel,(E) come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him.

The one who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,(D) 30 save yourself by coming down from the cross!”(E) 31 In the same way, the chief priests with the scribes(F) were mocking him among themselves and saying, “He saved others, but he cannot save himself! 32 Let the Messiah,(G) the King(H) of Israel,(I) come down now from the cross,(J) so that we may see and believe.”(K) Even those who were crucified with him taunted him.
