10 Nang nag-iisa na si Jesus, ang ilan sa mga nakikinig ay lumapit sa kanya kasama ang Labindalawa. Hiniling nilang ipaliwanag niya ang talinghaga. 11 Sinabi niya, “Ipinagkaloob sa inyo ang karapatang maunawaan ang hiwaga tungkol sa kaharian ng Diyos, ngunit sa iba na nasa labas, ang lahat ng bagay ay itinuturo sa pamamagitan ng talinghaga. 12 Nang(B) sa gayon,
‘Tumingin man sila nang tumingin ay hindi sila makakakita,
at makinig man sila nang makinig ay hindi makakaunawa.
Kung hindi sila ganito, nagbalik-loob na sana sila sa Diyos
at napatawad sila.’”
