Pinagaling ni Jesus ang Isang Ketongin(A)

40 Isang taong may ketong[a] ang lumapit kay Jesus. [Lumuhod ito][b] at nagmakaawa, “Kung nais po ninyo, ako'y inyong mapapagaling at magagawang malinis.”

41 Nahabag si Jesus sa ketongin kaya't hinawakan niya ito at sinabi, “Oo, nais ko! Gumaling ka!” 42 Noon di'y nawala ang ketong ng lalaki at siya'y naging malinis. 43 Matapos mapagbilinan, agad siyang pinaalis ni Jesus 44 at(B) pinagsabihan ng ganito: “Huwag mong sasabihin ito kaninuman. Sa halip ay magpunta ka at magpasuri sa pari. Pagkatapos, mag-alay ka ng handog para sa Diyos ayon sa iniutos ni Moises bilang patunay sa mga tao na ikaw ay magaling at malinis na.”

45 Ngunit pagkaalis ng lalaki ay kanyang ipinamalita ang nangyari sa kanya. Dahil dito, hindi na nakapasok pa ng bayan si Jesus. Nanatili na lamang siya sa mga hindi mataong lugar, subalit pinupuntahan pa rin siya ng mga tao mula sa iba't ibang dako.

Jesus Heals a Man With Leprosy(A)

40 A man with leprosy[a] came to him and begged him on his knees,(B) “If you are willing, you can make me clean.”

41 Jesus was indignant.[b] He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” 42 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.

43 Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning: 44 “See that you don’t tell this to anyone.(C) But go, show yourself to the priest(D) and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing,(E) as a testimony to them.” 45 Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places.(F) Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.(G)

12 Nang si Jesus ay nasa isang bayan, nakita siya ng isang lalaking ketongin. Nagpatirapa ito at nakiusap, “Panginoon, kung nais po ninyo, ako'y inyong mapapagaling at magagawang malinis.”[a]

13 Hinawakan siya ni Jesus at sinabi, “Nais ko. Gumaling ka at luminis!” At noon di'y nawala ang kanyang ketong. 14 Pinagbilinan(B) siya ni Jesus, “Huwag mong sasabihin ito kaninuman. Sa halip ay pumunta ka sa pari at magpasuri sa kanya. Pagkatapos, mag-alay ka ng handog ayon sa iniuutos ni Moises bilang patotoo sa mga tao na ikaw nga'y magaling na.”

15 Ngunit lalo pang kumalat ang balita tungkol kay Jesus, kaya't dumaragsa ang napakaraming tao upang makinig sa kanya at mapagaling sa kanilang mga sakit. 16 Ngunit si Jesus naman ay pumupunta sa mga ilang na lugar upang manalangin.

Jesus Heals a Man With Leprosy(A)

12 While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy.[a](B) When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

13 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.

14 Then Jesus ordered him, “Don’t tell anyone,(C) but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded(D) for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”

15 Yet the news about him spread all the more,(E) so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. 16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.(F)
