41 Bấy giờ Ngài hỏi họ, “Làm thể nào người ta có thể nói Ðấng Christ là Con của Ða-vít, 42 trong khi chính Ða-vít đã nói trong Thánh Thi,
‘Chúa phán với Chúa của tôi,
“Hãy ngồi bên phải Ta,
43 Cho đến khi Ta đặt những kẻ thù của Con làm bệ chân Con.”’
44 Vậy Ða-vít đã gọi Ngài là ‘Chúa,’ thì làm thể nào Ngài là con ông ấy?”

Whose Son Is the Messiah?(A)
41 Then Jesus said to them, “Why is it said that the Messiah is the son of David?(B) 42 David himself declares in the Book of Psalms:
“‘The Lord said to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand
43 until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.”’[a](C)
44 David calls him ‘Lord.’ How then can he be his son?”
