¹⁷ And when they^[a] saw it,^[b] they made known the statement that had been told to them about this child. ¹⁸ And all who heard it^[c] were astonished concerning what had been said to them by the shepherds. ¹⁹ But Mary treasured up all these words, pondering them^[d] in her heart. ²⁰ And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as it had been told to them.
