18 Now he told them a parable on the need for them to pray^(A) always and not give up.^(B)

4 Therefore, since we have this ministry because we were shown mercy,^(A) we do not give up.^(B)

¹⁶ Therefore we do not give up.^(A) Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person^(B) is being renewed day by day.

⁹ Let us not get tired^(A) of doing good,^(B) for we shall reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.

¹³ So, then, I ask you not to be discouraged^(A) over my afflictions on your behalf, for they are your glory.^(B)
