³⁰ a priest must ·look at [examine] the sore. If it seems deeper than the skin and the hair around it is thin and yellow, the priest must announce that the person is unclean [^Cin a ritual sense]. It is an ·itch [scaly patch; ^Cperhaps eczema or ringworm], a harmful skin disease [13:2] of the head or ·chin [or cheek; or beard].
