⁸ He shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer first the one for the sin offering. He shall ^(A)wring its head from its neck ^(B)but shall not sever it completely,

¹⁵ And the priest shall bring it to the altar and wring off its head and burn it on the altar. Its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar.

¹⁷ He shall tear it open by its wings, but ^(A)shall not sever it completely. And the priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

¹⁸ For Christ also ^(A)suffered^{[a] (B)}once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, ^(C)that he might bring us to God, being put to death ^(D)in the flesh but made alive ^(E)in the spirit,

^25 (A)who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised ^(B)for our justification.
