⁷ Then he shall take the two goats and set them before the Lord at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

A Living Sacrifice

12 ^(A)I appeal to you therefore, brothers,^[a] by the mercies of God, ^(B)to present your bodies ^(C)as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.^[b]

Jesus Foretells His Death and Resurrection

^21 (A)From that time Jesus began to show his disciples that ^(B)he must go to Jerusalem and ^(C)suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on ^(D)the third day be raised.

^6 (A)“And when the days of her purifying are completed, whether for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring to the priest at the entrance of the tent of meeting a lamb a year old for a burnt offering, and a pigeon or a turtledove for a sin offering, ⁷ and he shall offer it before the Lord and make atonement for her. Then she shall be clean from the flow of her blood. This is the law for her who bears a child, either male or female.

⁴ He shall bring the bull to the ^(A)entrance of the tent of meeting before the Lord and lay his hand on the head of the bull and kill the bull before the Lord.

³ “If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer ^(A)a male without blemish. He shall bring it to the entrance of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the Lord.
