¹⁹ And they said to him, “Be silent, ^(A)put your hand over your mouth, and go with us, and be to us ^(B)a father and a priest. Is it better for you to be a priest to the house of one man, or to be priest to a tribe and a family in Israel?”

¹⁶ Then Samuel said to Saul, “Stop, and let me inform you of what the Lord said to me last night.” And he said to him, “Speak!”
