9 Now it came about when ^(A)all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country and in the lowland and on all the ^(B)coast of the Great Sea toward Lebanon, ^(C)the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, heard of it,

² that they gathered themselves together with ^[a](A)one accord to fight with Joshua and with Israel.

^11 (A)You crossed the Jordan and came to Jericho; and the citizens of Jericho fought against you, and ^(B)the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Girgashite, the Hivite and the Jebusite. Thus ^(C)I gave them into your hand.
