Joshua 6:1-2

The Voice

6 The citizens of Jericho had barricaded themselves behind its high walls because of the Israelite forces. No one could get in or out.

Eternal One (to Joshua): ²I have given Jericho, its king, and all its soldiers into your hands.

New International Version

6 Now the gates of Jericho^(A) were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.

²Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered^(B) Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men.

6 Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.

²And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.
