¹⁴ “Therefore, fear the Lord and worship Him in sincerity and truth.^(A) Get rid of the gods your fathers worshiped^(B) beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and worship Yahweh.

²³ But an hour is coming, and is now here,^(A) when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worship Him.

²⁴ God is spirit,^(A) and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”^(B)
