Then they said to him, “Tell us who is to blame for this trouble we’re in.(A) What is your business,(B) and where are you from? What is your country, and what people are you from?”

He answered them, “I’m a Hebrew.(C) I worship[a] the Lord,(D) the God of the heavens,(E) who made the sea(F) and the dry land.”

10 Then the men were seized by a great fear and said to him, “What have you done?” The men knew he was fleeing from the Lord’s presence(G) because he had told them.

10 This terrified them and they asked, “What have you done?” (They knew he was running away from the Lord, because he had already told them so.)
