Jonah 1:14-17

14 So they called out to the Lord,(A) “Please, Lord, don’t let us perish because of this man’s life, and don’t charge us with innocent blood! For you, Lord, have done just as you pleased.”(B) 15 Then they picked up Jonah and threw him into the sea, and the sea stopped its raging.(C) 16 The men were seized by great fear of the Lord,(D) and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows.(E)
17 The Lord appointed a great fish(F) to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.(G)

14 Then they cried out to the Lord, “Please, Lord, do not let us die for taking this man’s life. Do not hold us accountable for killing an innocent man,(A) for you, Lord, have done as you pleased.”(B) 15 Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard, and the raging sea grew calm.(C) 16 At this the men greatly feared(D) the Lord, and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows(E) to him.

17 Now the Lord provided(F) a huge fish to swallow Jonah,(G) and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
