35 He was a burning and a shining candle: and ye would for [a]a season have rejoiced in his light.

36 But I have greater witness than the witness of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father sent me.

37 And the (A)Father himself, which hath sent me, beareth witness of me. Ye have not heard his voice at any time, (B)neither have ye seen his shape.
