14 Afterward Jesus *found him in the temple and said to him, “Behold, you have become well; do not (A)sin anymore, (B)so that nothing worse happens to you.” 15 The man went away, and disclosed to (C)the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. 16 And for this reason (D)the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath.

New International Version
14 Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning(A) or something worse may happen to you.” 15 The man went away and told the Jewish leaders(B) that it was Jesus who had made him well.
The Authority of the Son
16 So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him.
