Good News Translation
35 You have a saying, ‘Four more months and then the harvest.’ But I tell you, take a good look at the fields; the crops are now ripe and ready to be harvested! 36 The one who reaps the harvest is being paid and gathers the crops for eternal life; so the one who plants and the one who reaps will be glad together. 37 For the saying is true, ‘Someone plants, someone else reaps.’

35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.(A) 36 Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests(B) a crop for eternal life,(C) so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. 37 Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’(D) is true.
