^48 (A)The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; ^(B)the word that I have spoken will judge him ^(C)on the last day.

^16 (A)“The one who hears you hears me, and ^(B)the one who rejects you rejects me, and ^(C)the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

²⁷ And just as ^(A)it is appointed for man to die once, and ^(B)after that comes judgment, ²⁸ so Christ, having been offered once ^(C)to bear the sins of ^(D)many, will appear ^(E)a second time, ^(F)not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly ^(G)waiting for him.

^16 (A)on that day when, ^(B)according to my gospel, God judges ^(C)the secrets of men ^(D)by Christ Jesus.

^8 (A)in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those ^(B)who do not know God and on those who ^(C)do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

^24 (A)Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in ^(B)the resurrection on the last day.”

¹⁷ For ^(A)God did not send his Son into the world ^(B)to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. ^18 (C)Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not ^(D)believed in the name of the only Son of God. ^19 (E)And this is the judgment: ^(F)the light has come into the world, and ^(G)people loved the darkness rather than the light because ^(H)their works were evil. ^20 (I)For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, ^(J)lest his works should be exposed.

²⁵ See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For ^(A)if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven.

²⁹ How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one ^(A)who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned ^(B)the blood of the covenant ^(C)by which he was sanctified, and has ^(D)outraged the Spirit of grace? ³⁰ For we know him who said, ^(E)“Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, ^(F)“The Lord will judge his people.” ^31 (G)It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
