John 11:39-43

39 Jesus said, “Remove the stone.”
Martha, the sister of the dead man, said, “Lord, the smell will be awful! He’s been dead four days.”
40 Jesus replied, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believe, you will see God’s glory?” 41 So they removed the stone. Jesus looked up and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me. 42 I know you always hear me. I say this for the benefit of the crowd standing here so that they will believe that you sent me.” 43 Having said this, Jesus shouted with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”

39 “Take away the stone,” he said.
“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”(A)
40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe,(B) you will see the glory of God?”(C)
41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up(D) and said, “Father,(E) I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here,(F) that they may believe that you sent me.”(G)
43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”(H)
