²¹ And they asked him, “What then? ^(A)Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you ^(B)the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.”

² And his disciples asked him, ^(A)“Rabbi, ^(B)who sinned, ^(C)this man or ^(D)his parents, that he was born blind?” ³ Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but ^(E)that the works of God might be displayed in him.

¹⁵ And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, ^(A)he was thrown into the lake of fire.
