¹⁴ And ^(A)the Word ^(B)became flesh and ^(C)dwelt among us, ^(D)and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son^[a] from the Father, full of ^(E)grace and ^(F)truth.

⁵¹ And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you,^[a] you will see ^(A)heaven opened, and ^(B)the angels of God ascending and descending on ^(C)the Son of Man.”

³⁵ Jesus said to them, ^(A)“I am the bread of life; ^(B)whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

³⁸ Whoever believes in me, ^(A)as^[a] the Scripture has said, ^(B)‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of ^(C)living water.’” ³⁹ Now ^(D)this he said about the Spirit, ^(E)whom those who believed in him were to receive, ^(F)for as yet the Spirit had not been ^(G)given, ^(H)because Jesus was not yet glorified.

²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

I Am the True Vine

15 “I am the ^(A)true vine, and my Father is ^(B)the vinedresser.

³⁴ But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once there came out ^(A)blood and water.

² For the law of ^(A)the Spirit of life ^(B)has set you^[a] free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

²⁰ I have been ^(A)crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives ^(B)in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, ^(C)who loved me and ^(D)gave himself for me.
