²⁶Total darkness is reserved for his treasures.
^(A)An unfanned fire will consume him;
It shall go ill with him who is left in his tent.

²⁶ total darkness^(A) lies in wait for his treasures.
A fire^(B) unfanned will consume him^(C)
and devour what is left in his tent.^(D)

²⁶Complete ^(A)darkness is held in reserve for his treasures,
And unfanned ^(B)fire will devour him;
It will consume the survivor in his tent.
