Good News Translation

⁸He likes the company of evil people
and goes around with sinners.
⁹He says that it never does any good
to try to follow God's will.

¹⁰Listen to me, you men who understand!
Will Almighty God do what is wrong?

New International Version

⁸He keeps company with evildoers;
he associates with the wicked.^(A)
⁹For he says, ‘There is no profit
in trying to please God.’^(B)

¹⁰“So listen to me,^(C) you men of understanding.^(D)
Far be it from God to do evil,^(E)
from the Almighty to do wrong.^(F)
