¹The vision of Obadiah. Thus says Adonai Elohim concerning Edom:

We have heard a report from Adonai—
and an envoy has been sent among the nations:
“Arise and let us rise up against her in battle.”

²⁰We are therefore ambassadors for Messiah, as though God were making His appeal through us. We beg you on behalf of Messiah, be reconciled to God.

²⁰for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may speak boldly, the way I should.
