16 Who were snatched away (A)before their time,
Whose (B)foundations were [a]washed away by a river?
17 They (C)said to God, ‘Depart from us!’
And ‘What can [b]the Almighty do to them?’
18 Yet He (D)filled their houses with good things,
But (E)the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
