56 (A)Your father Abraham was (B)overjoyed that he would see My day, and he saw it and rejoiced.” 57 (C)So the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and You have seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham [a]was born, [b](D)I am.” 59 Therefore they (E)picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus (F)hid Himself and left the temple grounds.

57 “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”
58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born,(C) I am!”(D) 59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him,(E) but Jesus hid himself,(F) slipping away from the temple grounds.
