12 Jesaja zegt: In die tijd zullen de mensen zeggen:
"Ik prijs U, Heer!
Want U was erg boos op mij, maar nu niet meer.
Nu troost U mij.
2 U bent mijn Redder.
Ik zal op U vertrouwen en niet meer bang zijn.
Want U bent mijn kracht en mijn lied.
U heeft mij gered."
3 Dan zal de Heer jullie bron van blijdschap zijn. En in die tijd zullen jullie zeggen:
4 "Dank de Heer! Aanbid Hem!
Vertel de volken wat Hij allemaal heeft gedaan.
Vertel dat Hij de machtige God is.
5 Zing voor de Heer, want Hij heeft geweldige dingen gedaan!
De hele wereld moet het weten.
6 Juich en jubel, bewoners van Sion,
want de geweldige en Heilige God van Israël woont bij jullie!"

12 Cuando llegue ese día, dirás:
«A ti, Señor, cantaré; aunque te enojaste contra mí, tu indignación cesó y me has dado consuelo. 2 ¡Vean a Dios, mi salvador! Puedo estar confiado y sin temor alguno, porque el Señor es mi fortaleza y mi canción;(A) ¡él es mi salvador!»
3 Y con gran gozo sacarán ustedes agua de las fuentes de la salvación.
4 Cuando llegue ese día, dirán ustedes:
«¡Alaben al Señor! ¡Aclamen su nombre!
¡Alaben sus acciones entre los pueblos!
¡Recuerden que su nombre es incomparable!
5 ¡Canten salmos al Señor,
porque sus obras son magníficas!
¡Que toda la tierra lo sepa!
6 Tú, que habitas en Sión,
¡canta y regocíjate, que en medio de ti
grande es el Santo de Israel!»

12 In that day(A) you will say:
“I will praise(B) you, Lord.
Although you were angry with me,
your anger has turned away(C)
and you have comforted(D) me.
2 Surely God is my salvation;(E)
I will trust(F) and not be afraid.
The Lord, the Lord himself,(G) is my strength(H) and my defense[a];
he has become my salvation.(I)”
3 With joy you will draw water(J)
from the wells(K) of salvation.
4 In that day(L) you will say:
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;(M)
make known among the nations(N) what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.(O)
5 Sing(P) to the Lord, for he has done glorious things;(Q)
let this be known to all the world.
6 Shout aloud and sing for joy,(R) people of Zion,
for great(S) is the Holy One of Israel(T) among you.(U)”
