⁸ Egypt rises like the Nile,

He said, ‘I will rise, I will cover the earth,
    I will destroy cities and their inhabitants.’

    and everyone mourn who dwells in it,
^(B)and all of it rise like the Nile,
    and be tossed about ^(C)and sink again, like the Nile of Egypt?”
