But Be Doers of The Word, Not Hearers Only
22 But be[a] doers of the word and not hearers only, deluding[b] yourselves. 23 Because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, this one is like a man considering[c] the face of his birth[d] in a mirror. 24 For he considered himself and has gone-away and immediately forgot[e] what-sort of man he was.

22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.(A) 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
