Hinatulan ang Pang-aapi at Walang Katarungan
59 Tingnan ninyo, si Yahweh ay may kakayahan upang iligtas ka;
siya'y hindi bingi upang hindi marinig ang inyong hinaing.
2 Ang masasama ninyong gawa ang dahilan ng pagkawalay ninyo sa Diyos.
Nagkasala kayo kaya hindi ninyo siya makita,
at hindi niya kayo marinig.
3 Natigmak sa dugo ang inyong mga kamay,
ang inyong mga daliri'y sanhi ng katiwalian.
Ang inyong mga labi ay puno ng kasinungalingan;
ang sinasabi ng inyong mga dila ay pawang kasamaan.
4 Hindi makatarungan ang inyong pagsasakdal sa hukuman;
hindi rin matapat ang hatol ng inyong mga hukom.
Ang inyong batayan ay hindi tamang pangangatuwiran,
at ang pananalita ninyo'y pawang kasinungalingan.
Ang iniisip ninyo'y pawang kaguluhan
na nagiging sanhi ng maraming kasamaan.
5 Mga itlog ng ahas ang kanilang pinipisa,
mga sapot ng gagamba ang kanilang hinahabi.
Sinumang kumakain ng itlog na ito'y mamamatay;
bawat napipisa ay isang ulupong ang lumilitaw.
6 Hindi magagawang damit ang mga sapot,
hindi nito matatakpan ang kanilang mga katawan.
Ang mga ginagawa nila'y kasamaan,
pawang karahasan ang gawa ng kanilang mga kamay.
7 Mabilis(A) ang kanilang paa sa paggawa ng masama,
nagmamadali sila sa pagpatay ng mga walang sala;
pawang kasamaan ang kanilang iniisip.
Bakas ng pagkawasak ang kanilang iniiwan sa kanilang malalawak na lansangan.
8 Hindi nila alam ang landas patungo sa kapayapaan,
wala silang patnubay ng katarungan;
liku-likong landas ang kanilang ginagawa;
ang nagdaraan doo'y walang kapayapaan.
Inamin ng mga Tao ang Kanilang Kasalanan
9 Dahil dito, ang katarungan ay malayo sa amin,
hindi namin alam kung ano ang katuwiran.
Alam na namin ngayon kung bakit hindi kami iniligtas ng Diyos, sa mga nagpahirap sa amin.
Umasa kaming liwanag ay darating, ngunit kadiliman ang aming kinasadlakan.
10 Tulad nami'y bulag na nangangapa sa paglakad,
nadarapa kami tulad ng mga walang paningin.
Sa katanghaliang-tapat, kami'y natatalisod na para bang gabi na,
parang kami'y nasa dilim tulad ng mga patay.
11 Umuungal tayong lahat na gaya ng mga oso;
dumaraing tayo at nagdadalamhati tulad ng mga kalapati.
Ang hinihintay nating katarungan ay hindi dumarating.
Nais nating maligtas sa kaapihan at kahirapan ngunit ang kaligtasan ay malayo.
12 Yahweh, maraming beses kaming naghimagsik laban sa iyo;
inuusig kami ng aming mga kasalanan.
Alam naming kami'y naging makasalanan.
Nalalaman namin ang aming mga pagkakasala.
13 Naghimagsik kami sa iyo, O Yahweh, at itinakwil ka namin
at hindi na sumunod sa iyo.
Ang sinasabi namin ay pawang pang-aapi at pagtataksil;
ang inuusal ng aming mga bibig ay mga kasinungalingan, na katha ng aming mga isip.
14 Itinakwil namin ang katarungan
at lumayo kami sa katuwiran.
Ang katotohanan ay nahandusay sa mga liwasang-bayan,
at hindi makapanaig ang katapatan.
15 Hindi matagpuan ang katotohanan,
kaya nanganganib ang buhay ng mga tao, na ayaw gumawa ng kasamaan.
Humanda si Yahweh para Iligtas ang Kanyang Bayan
Nang makita ni Yahweh na wala nang katarungan,
siya ay nalungkot.
16 Nakita(B) niya na wala kahit isang magmalasakit sa mga api.
Dahil dito'y gagamitin niya ang kanyang kapangyarihan
upang sila'y iligtas, at siya'y magtatagumpay.
17 Ang(C) suot niya sa dibdib ay baluti ng katuwiran,
at sa kanyang ulo naman ang helmet ng kaligtasan.
Paghihiganti ang kanyang kasuotan,
at poot naman ang kanyang balabal.
18 Paparusahan niya ang mga kaaway ayon sa kanilang ginawa,
kahit ang nasa malalayong lugar ay kanyang gagantihan.
19 Kaya katatakutan siya ng mga taga-kanluran,
at dadakilain sa dakong silangan;
darating si Yahweh, tulad ng malakas na agos ng tubig,
gaya ng ihip ng malakas na hangin.
20 Sinabi(D) ni Yahweh sa kanyang bayan,
“Pupunta ako sa Zion upang tubusin
ang mga taong mula sa lahi ni Jacob na magsisisi sa kanilang kasalanan.
21 Ito ang aking kasunduan sa inyo,” sabi ni Yahweh.
“Ibinigay ko na ang aking kapangyarihan at mga katuruan upang sumainyo magpakailanman. Mula ngayon ay susundin ninyo ako at tuturuan ang inyong mga anak at salinlahi na sumunod sa akin sa buong panahong darating.”

59 Behold, the Yad Hashem is not too short, that it cannot save; neither His ozen (ear) too kaved (hard, insensitive, heavy, dull) that it cannot hear;
2 But your avonot (iniquities) have separated you and Eloheichem, and your chattot (sins) have concealed His face from you, that He will not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled and polluted with dahm, and your fingers with avon (iniquity); your lips have spoken sheker, your leshon (tongue) hath muttered avlah (perverseness, wickedness, iniquity, lashon hora).
4 None calleth [unto Hashem] b’tzedek (in righteousness), nor any pleadeth b’emunah (in faithfulness, in truth); they trust in tohu [nothingness, Gn 1:2], and speak shav (vanity); they conceive amal (trouble), and give birth to aven (wickedness).
5 They hatch the beytzim (eggs) of the tzifoni (viper, poisonous snake), and weave the webs of the akavish (spider); he that eateth of their beytzim (eggs) dieth, and of that which is cracked open, an efeh (kind of poisonous snake) is hatched.
6 Their webs shall not become beged (garments), neither shall they cover themselves with their ma’asim; their ma’asim are ma’asei aven (works of wickedness), and the po’al chamas (act of violence) is in their hands.
7 Their raglayim (feet) run to rah, and they make haste for shefach dahm naki (blood shed of the innocent); their machsh’vot (thoughts) are machsh’vot of aven (wickedness); shod (desolation) and shever (destruction) are on their highways.
8 Of the Derech Shalom they have no da’as; and there is no mishpat (justice) in their circuits; they have made themselves crooked roads; whosoever walketh thereon shall not know shalom.
9 Therefore is mishpat (justice) far from us, neither doth tzedakah overtake us; we wait for ohr, but, hinei, choshech; for negohot (brightness), but we walk in gloom.
10 We grope by the wall like the ivrim (blind), and we grope as if we had no einayim (eyes); we stumble at tzohorayim (noon) as in twilight; we are in full vigor and stout, yet we are as mesim (dead ones).
11 We all growl like dubim (bears), and moan continually like yonim (doves); we look for mishpat, but there is none; for Yeshuah (Salvation), but it is far off from us.
12 Because peysha’einu (our rebellions) have multiplied before Thee, and chattoteinu (our sins) testify against us; for peysha’einu are still with us; and as for avonoteinu (our iniquities), we acknowledge them:
13 In rebelling against and kachash (denying) Hashem, and nasog (turning away) from Eloheinu, speaking oshek (oppression) and sarah (revolt), conceiving and uttering from the lev (heart) divrei sheker (words of falsehood).
14 And mishpat (justice) is turned back, and tzedakah (righteousness) standeth afar off; for emes (truth) is fallen in the rechov (street), and nacho’ach (honesty) cannot enter.
15 Indeed, emes (truth) faileth; and he that departeth from rah (evil) maketh himself a prey; and Hashem saw it, and it was displeasing in His sight that there was no mishpat (justice).
16 And He saw that there was no ish (man), and was appalled that there was no Mafgi’a (Intercessor); therefore His own Zero’a (Arm) wrought Salvation unto Him; and His own tzedakah (righteousness) He relied on [Isa 53:1; Jer 23:6].
17 For He put on tzedakah as breastplate armor, and a helmet of Yeshuah (Salvation, Saving Power) upon His rosh; and He put on the bigdei nakam (garments of vengeance) for a uniform, and was clad with kinah (zeal) as a me’il (mantle, cloak).
18 According to their gemulot (deeds, dealings), so He will repay, chemah (fury, wrath) to His adversaries, gemul (recompence) to His oyevim (enemies); to the iyim (islands) He will repay gemul (recompence, due).
19 So shall they fear the Shem Hashem from the ma’arav (west), and His kavod from the rising of the shemesh. When the enemy shall come in like a nahar (flood, river), the Ruach [Hakodesh] of Hashem shall lift up a standard against him.
20 And the Go’el (Redeemer, Moshiach) shall come to Tziyon, and unto them that make teshuva and turn from peysha (rebellion) in Ya’akov, saith Hashem [See Ro.11:26 OJBC].
21 As for Me, this is My Brit (Covenant, [see Isaiah 42:6; 49:8; 54:10; 55:3]) with them [i.e., with Moshiach’s zera, see Isaiah 53:10], saith Hashem; My Ruach [Hakodesh] that is upon thee [Moshiach, see Isaiah 11:2; 42:1; 48:16; 61:1], and My words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy zera [Isaiah 53:10], nor out of the mouth of the zera of thy zera [i.e. Moshiach’s zera generationally], saith Hashem, from henceforth and ad olam (forever).

Sin, Confession and Redemption
59 Surely the arm(A) of the Lord is not too short(B) to save,
nor his ear too dull to hear.(C)
2 But your iniquities have separated(D)
you from your God;
your sins have hidden his face from you,
so that he will not hear.(E)
3 For your hands are stained with blood,(F)
your fingers with guilt.(G)
Your lips have spoken falsely,(H)
and your tongue mutters wicked things.
4 No one calls for justice;(I)
no one pleads a case with integrity.
They rely(J) on empty arguments, they utter lies;(K)
they conceive trouble and give birth to evil.(L)
5 They hatch the eggs of vipers(M)
and spin a spider’s web.(N)
Whoever eats their eggs will die,
and when one is broken, an adder is hatched.
6 Their cobwebs are useless for clothing;
they cannot cover themselves with what they make.(O)
Their deeds are evil deeds,
and acts of violence(P) are in their hands.
7 Their feet rush into sin;
they are swift to shed innocent blood.(Q)
They pursue evil schemes;(R)
acts of violence mark their ways.(S)
8 The way of peace they do not know;(T)
there is no justice in their paths.
They have turned them into crooked roads;(U)
no one who walks along them will know peace.(V)
9 So justice is far from us,
and righteousness does not reach us.
We look for light, but all is darkness;(W)
for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows.
10 Like the blind(X) we grope along the wall,
feeling our way like people without eyes.
At midday we stumble(Y) as if it were twilight;
among the strong, we are like the dead.(Z)
11 We all growl like bears;
we moan mournfully like doves.(AA)
We look for justice, but find none;
for deliverance, but it is far away.
12 For our offenses(AB) are many in your sight,
and our sins testify(AC) against us.
Our offenses are ever with us,
and we acknowledge our iniquities:(AD)
13 rebellion(AE) and treachery against the Lord,
turning our backs(AF) on our God,
inciting revolt and oppression,(AG)
uttering lies(AH) our hearts have conceived.
14 So justice(AI) is driven back,
and righteousness(AJ) stands at a distance;
truth(AK) has stumbled in the streets,
honesty cannot enter.
15 Truth(AL) is nowhere to be found,
and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey.
The Lord looked and was displeased
that there was no justice.(AM)
16 He saw that there was no one,(AN)
he was appalled that there was no one to intervene;(AO)
so his own arm achieved salvation(AP) for him,
and his own righteousness(AQ) sustained him.
17 He put on righteousness as his breastplate,(AR)
and the helmet(AS) of salvation on his head;
he put on the garments(AT) of vengeance(AU)
and wrapped himself in zeal(AV) as in a cloak.
18 According to what they have done,
so will he repay(AW)
wrath to his enemies
and retribution to his foes;
he will repay the islands(AX) their due.
19 From the west,(AY) people will fear the name of the Lord,
and from the rising of the sun,(AZ) they will revere his glory.(BA)
For he will come like a pent-up flood
that the breath(BB) of the Lord drives along.[a]
20 “The Redeemer(BC) will come to Zion,(BD)
to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,”(BE)
declares the Lord.
21 “As for me, this is my covenant(BF) with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit,(BG) who is on you, will not depart from you,(BH) and my words that I have put in your mouth(BI) will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the Lord.
