⁵⁸ Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham ^[a]was born, ^[b](A)I am.”

¹⁷ He ^[a](A)is before all things, and in Him all things ^[b]hold together.

The Incarnate Word

1 What was ^(A)from the beginning, what we have ^(B)heard, what we have ^(C)seen with our eyes, what we ^(D)have looked at and ^(E)touched with our hands, concerning the ^(F)Word of Life—

³ Without father, without mother, ^(A)without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like ^(B)the Son of God, he remains a priest perpetually.

^8 (A)Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever.
