Isaiah 65:20-22
Lexham English Bible
Isaiah 65:20-22
Lexham English Bible
20 There will no longer be a nursing infant who lives only a few[a] days,
or[b] an old man who does not fill his days,
for the boy will die a hundred years old,[c]
and the one who fails to reach[d] a hundred years[e] will be considered[f] accursed.
21 And they shall build houses and inhabit them,
and they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 They shall not build and another inhabit;
they shall not plant and another eat.
For the days of my people shall be like the days of a tree,
and my chosen ones shall enjoy the work of their hands.
