Hebrews 7:20-25
New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
20 This was confirmed with an oath, for others have become priests without an oath, 21 but this one became a priest with an oath because of the one who said to him,
22 accordingly Jesus has also become the guarantor of a better covenant.(B)
23 Furthermore, the former priests were many in number because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, 24 but he holds his priesthood permanently because he continues forever. 25 Consequently, he is able for all time to save[b] those who approach God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.(C)

New International Version
20 And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath, 21 but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him:
22 Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant.(C)
23 Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; 24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.(D) 25 Therefore he is able to save(E) completely[b] those who come to God(F) through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.(G)
