Hebrews 12:19-25
New American Standard Bible 1995
19 and to the (A)blast of a trumpet and the (B)sound of words which sound was such that those who heard (C)begged that no further word be spoken to them. 20 For they could not bear the command, “(D)If even a beast touches the mountain, it will be stoned.” 21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, “(E)I am full of fear and trembling.” 22 But (F)you have come to Mount Zion and to (G)the city of (H)the living God, (I)the heavenly Jerusalem, and to (J)myriads of [a]angels, 23 to the general assembly and (K)church of the firstborn who (L)are enrolled in heaven, and to God, (M)the Judge of all, and to the (N)spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 and to Jesus, the (O)mediator of a new covenant, and to the (P)sprinkled blood, which speaks better than (Q)the blood of Abel.
The Unshaken Kingdom
25 (R)See to it that you do not refuse Him who is (S)speaking. For (T)if those did not escape when they (U)refused him who (V)warned them on earth, [b]much less will we escape who turn away from Him who (W)warns from heaven.
