Genesis 8:11-13
Modern English Version
11 The dove came to him in the evening, and in her mouth there was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth. 12 He waited another seven days and sent out the dove again, but it did not return to him again.
13 So in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and saw the surface of the ground was dry.

New International Version
11 When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.(A) 12 He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him.
13 By the first day of the first month of Noah’s six hundred and first year,(B) the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.
