Genesis 8:11-13

11 And the dove came to him toward [a]evening, and behold, in its [b]beak was a freshly picked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the water was abated from the earth. 12 Then he waited yet another seven days and sent out (A)the dove; but it did not return to him again.
13 Now it happened in the (B)six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first of the month, the water was dried up [c]from the earth. Then Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and behold, the [d]surface of the ground was dried up.

New International Version
11 When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.(A) 12 He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him.
13 By the first day of the first month of Noah’s six hundred and first year,(B) the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.
