Genesis 6:21-22

²¹You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.”

²²Noah did everything just as God commanded him.^(A)

²¹And you must take^[a] for yourself every kind of food^[b] that is eaten,^[c] and gather it together.^[d] It will be food for you and for them.”

Genesis 6:21 tn The verb is a direct imperative: “And you, take for yourself.” The form stresses the immediate nature of the instruction; the pronoun underscores the directness.
