25 Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech. 26 After he begot Lamech, Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty-two years, and had sons and daughters.

25 When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he became the father of Lamech.(C) 26 After he became the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters.
