2 Jacob became angry with her and said, “Am I in the place of God,(A) who has kept you from having children?”(B)
3 Then she said, “Here is Bilhah,(C) my servant.(D) Sleep with her so that she can bear children for me and I too can build a family through her.”(E)
4 So she gave him her servant Bilhah as a wife.(F) Jacob slept with her,(G)

2 Then Jacob’s anger burned against Rachel, and he said, “Am I in the place of God, who has (A)withheld from you the fruit of the womb?” 3 Then she said, “(B)Here is my female slave Bilhah: have relations with her that she may (C)give birth [a]on my knees, so that [b](D)by her I too may obtain a child.” 4 So (E)she gave him her slave Bilhah as a wife, and Jacob had relations with her.
