Yahweh Appears to Abram

12 And ^(A)Yahweh said to Abram,

⁵ And He brought him outside and said, “Now look toward the heavens, and ^(A)number the stars, if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “^(B)So shall your seed be.”

¹⁰ Yahweh your God has ^(A)multiplied you, and behold, you are this day like the stars of heaven in number.

²⁴ “Son of man, they who ^(A)inhabit these waste places in the land of Israel are saying, ‘^(B)Abraham was only one, yet he possessed the land; so to ^(C)us who are many the land has been given as a possession.’
