8 So Yahweh (A)scattered them from there over the face of the whole earth; and they stopped building the city. 9 Therefore its name was called [a](B)Babel, because there Yahweh confused the [b]language of the whole earth; and from there Yahweh scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

Genesis 11:8-10
New International Version
8 So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth,(A) and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel[a](B)—because there the Lord confused the language(C) of the whole world.(D) From there the Lord scattered(E) them over the face of the whole earth.
