4 కనుక రాహేలు తన దాసియైన బిల్హాను యాకోబుకు ఇచ్చింది. యాకోబు బిల్హాతో శయనించాడు. 5 బిల్హా గర్భవతి అయింది, యాకోబుకు ఒక కుమారుని కన్నది.
6 “దేవుడు నా ప్రార్థన విన్నాడు. నాకు ఒక కుమారుని ఇవ్వాలని ఆయన నిర్ణయం చేశాడు” అని చెప్పి, రాహేలు ఆ కుమారునికి “దాను”[a] అని పేరు పెట్టింది.
7 బిల్హా మరల గర్భవతియై, యాకోబుకు మరో కుమారుని కన్నది. 8 రాహేలు “నా అక్కతో పోటీలో చాలా కష్టపడి పోరాడాను. నేనే గెలిచాను” అని చెప్పి ఆ కుమారునికి “నఫ్తాలి” అని పేరు పెట్టింది.

4 Then she gave him Bilhah her maid (A)as wife, and Jacob went in to her. 5 And Bilhah conceived and bore Jacob a son. 6 Then Rachel said, “God has (B)judged my case; and He has also heard my voice and given me a son.” Therefore she called his name [a]Dan. 7 And Rachel’s maid Bilhah conceived again and bore Jacob a second son. 8 Then Rachel said, “With [b]great wrestlings I have wrestled with my sister, and indeed I have prevailed.” So she called his name [c]Naphtali.
